Inspired by This piece was inspired by the beautiful mosaics and architecture of the well-known landmark of Medan, North Sumatra, the Maimun Palace. Built around the 1880s, the palace is a popular attraction for locals and international visitors partially due to the building’s combination of Malay, Islamic and European architecture and decorative elements.
